BrakesThe brakes were upgraded by the previous owner with HQ calipers at the front and XB Ford discs at the back to suit the nine inch. The single diaphram booster and master cylinder are off a Valiant, so I've been told. The whole package worked pretty well but I decided to go for the Hoopers Stoppers big brake kit on the front after having some hassles trying to get the HQ PBR calipers reco'd. I reckon you can't go overkill on brakes. The install fitted straight onto the stock 57 Chev spindles with no modification to the booster required. The rotors are 300mm slotted by DBA.
